RIP stands for Raw Individual Performance — a tournament system built inside Golf Life 360 for everyday golfers of every skill level. You don't need a scratch handicap. You don't need to travel to a tour event. You compete from your home course against golfers of similar ability, using handicap-adjusted scoring designed to level the playing field.
Whether you're a beginner finding your game or an experienced player chasing a title, the RIP Tour gives you a real competitive home.
How It Works
Fair Competition for Every Golfer
Handicap-adjusted scoring means your net score — not your gross score — determines your place on the leaderboard. Your official handicap index is used to calculate the strokes you receive on each course, so a 20-handicap golfer and a 5-handicap golfer can compete in the same event with a genuine chance to win.
This is the same system used in official amateur golf competition worldwide. Golf Life 360 applies it inside the RIP Tour so that every member, regardless of experience level, steps to the first tee with a fair opportunity.

Tournament Process
From Sign-Up to Leaderboard
Follow these twelve steps to enter a RIP Tour event and have your score count. Every step protects the integrity of the competition and keeps the leaderboard fair for all participants.
Step 1: Create a Golf Life 360 Account
Sign up at Golf Life 360 or through the app. Your account is your entry point to all RIP Tour features.
Step 2: Complete Your Golfer Profile
Add your name, location, and golfer information so your profile is ready for tournament registration.
Step 3: Enter Your Handicap and Club Information
Your official handicap index is required for handicap-adjusted scoring. Enter your club distances in the My Bag section.
Step 4: Select an Available Tournament
Browse open RIP Tour events in the Tournaments section of the app and choose the event that fits your schedule and location.
Step 5: Register and Choose Your Course and Tees
Select your participating course from the approved list for that event and choose the tee set appropriate for your game.
Step 6: Check In at the Course
Use the app to check in on the day of your round. Check-in confirms your participation for that event window.
Step 7: Play with an Approved Marker or Playing Partner
Your round must be completed with another Golf Life 360 member, an approved marker, or an eligible playing partner who can confirm your score.
Step 8: Enter Scores Hole-by-Hole
Record each hole's score directly in the app during or immediately after your round. Do not wait to enter scores after leaving the course.
Step 9: Upload a Clear Photograph of Your Completed Scorecard
Take a legible photo of your signed physical scorecard and upload it within the app before submitting your score.
Step 10: Have Your Playing Partner Confirm the Round
Your playing partner or marker receives a confirmation prompt in the app. Their confirmation is required before your score enters review.
Step 11: Submit Your Score for Review
Once partner confirmation is received, submit the round for administrator review. Scores under review are not yet posted to the leaderboard.
Step 12: Follow the Live or Final Leaderboard
After your score passes review, it appears on the event leaderboard. Earn points toward rankings and future events.
Score Integrity
How Every Score Is Verified
RIP Tour uses a layered verification system to protect the leaderboard and ensure every result is earned. Here is exactly how it works.
Playing-Partner Confirmation
Your playing partner or approved marker confirms the round inside the app before your score is submitted for review.
Scorecard Photograph
A clear photo of your completed, signed scorecard must be uploaded before score submission. Illegible or missing photos delay review.
Course and Time Validation
GPS and time-stamp data from your check-in and round are compared against the course record to confirm the round was played on the registered day.
Handicap Review
Each submitted score is checked against the player's handicap index. Scores that fall significantly outside expected performance ranges are flagged for manual review.
Admin Spot Checks
Tournament administrators conduct random spot checks on submitted rounds regardless of whether a flag was triggered.
Manual Review of Unusual Scores
Any score that falls outside expected parameters for the course, tee set, and handicap flight is escalated to a human administrator before posting.
Dispute Process
Any participant may submit a formal dispute within the event window. Disputed scores are placed on hold and reviewed by an administrator before final leaderboard results are confirmed.
Penalties for Dishonest Scoring
Confirmed score manipulation or falsified documentation results in disqualification from the event, loss of season points, and may result in suspension from future RIP Tour events.

Find Your Tournament
The three categories below are sample tournament types to illustrate how RIP Tour events are structured. Real events, entry fees, prize information, and schedules will be published and managed by the administrator for each individual event. All sample labels will be replaced when live events are announced.
SAMPLE EVENT
RIP Weekly Challenge
A short-format weekly event open to all Golf Life 360 members. Play one round at a participating course during the event window and submit your handicap-adjusted score. Leaderboard resets each week.
Format: Individual stroke play, handicap-adjusted net scoring

SAMPLE EVENT
Regional Flight Event
A multi-week regional competition where golfers are grouped into handicap flights. Compete against players in your skill range across participating courses in a defined region. Results contribute to the season rankings.
Format: Flight-based stroke play, handicap-adjusted net scoring

Prizes: Prizes set per event by administrator

RIP National Open
Golf Life 360's flagship event. Open to all active members who have completed a qualifying round. Compete nationally from your home course using the same handicap-adjusted format. Season's highest-profile leaderboard.

About Tournament Prizes and Entry Fees
Tournament prizes, entry fees, and prize pools for all RIP Tour events are set, funded, and controlled entirely by the Golf Life 360 administrator. No fixed prize amounts are guaranteed or promised on this page.
Prize and fee details will be displayed on each individual event listing before registration opens. Golfers should review the specific event page before registering. Golf Life 360 does not guarantee any minimum prize pool for any event. Tournament registration is tied to the specific event and is non-transferable unless stated otherwise in the event terms.
